King Clash Rescue

CONTROLS:  WASD, ENTER, & SHIFT

HOW TO PLAY: Interact with the people around the town with the ENTER key to get items to progress the story.

UPDATE:
Someone pointed out that there is a major issue with the collision at the bottom of the map. Some of the collision objects are still visible and some of the trees have no collision allowing the player to get outside of the map. I will fix this after the rating period is over.

DEVLOG:

Your true love has been taken by the evil King! It's up to you to rescue her.

Interact with the people around the town to get items to progress the story.
Make careful decisions during encounters to over come them.
Defeat the King and rescue your true love!

This game was made for Miz Jam 1 where all participants had to use the exact same art source.

I hope everyone enjoys the game! I'm super happy I submitted on time. I had to crunch super hard due to not being able to work on the game much at all until the end of the jam. I tried very hard to make the game and music feel like it could all be from a legit Gameboy game. I think it turned out pretty well!
